juicy red fruit with the right amount of balancing acidity

Marchese Antinori 2007 Pian delle Vigne Brunello di Montalcino
elegant with a sweet entry leading to a dry finish,
fruit is well balanced by the acidity

Masi 2007 Costasera Riserva Amarone della Valpolicella Classico
dark fruit, plum and chocolate, tannins aid in the length of finish
could stand to laid down for a good decade or two

chocolate, plum, black cherry, violets - nice and smooth

Michele Chiarlo 2010 Nizza La Court Barbera D'Asti Superiore
lots of black cherry and good acidity
Michele Chiarlo 2011 Rovereto Gavi di Gavi
juicy pineapple notes makes this one worthwhile

Pio Cesare 2008 Ornato Barolo
strange to say this wine has a sort of juicy-dryness but it does
cherry with elements of plum, violets and spice

A very juicy, ready to drink wine

Tasca D'Almerita 2009 Tascante
A light wine that seemed almost Pinot-esque
great plum, black cherry, anise and herbal notes
quite elegant - made with Nerello Mascalese

Tasca D'Almerita 2009 Cygnus
blend of Nero D'Avola and Cabernet Sauvignon
nice sweet fruit entry with long sweet fruit finish

Argiolas 2011 Argiolas Iselis White
85% Nasco / 15% Vermentino
nice acidity with juicy white fruit

Umani Ronchi 2010 Jorio Montepulciano d'Abruzzo
drinking nicely with dark spiced fruit
good value at only $15
