Amongst the quiet vines and serenest of Niagara on the Lake |
The people came |
To Peller for one of the most unique events to hit the region in quite some time |
A food truck rally, where 16 food trucks were there to feed and have fun |
The bar was packed with patron who not only wanted eat but drink too |
You could even buy a t-shirt to support your local food truck |
Proving that people can't give up a good food event, there were people as far as you could see, to the left |
and to the right |
and the sea continued all the way back up to the winery ... everyone happy to stand in line and wait for some of the most interesting and delicious food on wheels |
My selection was the Blue Donkey ... |
whose specialty was Greek street food |
The menu of the Blue Donkey, plus you'll notice that each truck had a wine pairing recommendation |
In the midst of it all was the band ... great entertainment - not only did these guys play The Black Keys songs, but they actually sounded just like them |
Seating was at a premium so hay bales become the preferred way to take a load off and enjoy your meal, take in the surroundings or just enjoy your glass of wine |
